Wa-Haye!
David KO’s Chisora
2
DAVID HAYE smashed Dereck Chisora to Brits — then called for world champion Vitali Klitschko
Haye knocked out Del Boy in the fifth round with a flurry of punches in this Sun-backed grudge match.
And the Hayemaker roared: “That performance shows you what I can do and if Vitali thinks he can handle it, then let’s fight. He will probably want to fight some chump and then retire to become a politician.
“But if he wants to give the world a great fight I’m ready to go.”
A five-punch combination put an end to a fight arranged on the back of their Munich maul in February.
“Two warriors went at it from the first bell and gave the crowd what they wanted. I didn’t give Chisora much respect before the fight because I had never experienced what he could bring to the ring.
“The atmosphere here is the best I have ever experienced.”
Chisora has to pay up a £20,000 bet to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children after the KO.
He said: “That was a great fight, I got caught, I don’t know what with, but it was a great shot.
Chisora’s promoter Frank Warren admitted: “David Haye fought superbly and made me eat my words.
“He showed he could punch and demonstrated his hand speed.”
