DAVID HAYE smashed Dereck Chisora to Brits — then called for world champion Vitali Klitschko

Haye knocked out Del Boy in the fifth round with a flurry of punches in this Sun-backed grudge match.
And the Hayemaker roared: “That performance shows you what I can do and if Vitali thinks he can handle it, then let’s fight. He will probably want to fight some chump and then retire to become a politician.
“I’d be very surprised if Vitali wants to fight me after that.
“But if he wants to give the world a great fight I’m ready to go.”

Haye showed awesome power and speed to floor Chisora twice in the fifth to take the bragging rights as well as the WBA and WBO international heavyweight title belts.
A five-punch combination put an end to a fight arranged on the back of their Munich maul in February.

Haye, who wore trainers in the ring to get more grip at rain-swept Upton Park, added: “This is one of the best ever nights for British boxing.
“Two warriors went at it from the first bell and gave the crowd what they wanted. I didn’t give Chisora much respect before the fight because I had never experienced what he could bring to the ring.

“But I now know Chisora has one of the best chins in the business — how he was standing after some of my shots landed I don’t know.
“The atmosphere here is the best I have ever experienced.”

Chisora has to pay up a £20,000 bet to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children after the KO.
He said: “That was a great fight, I got caught, I don’t know what with, but it was a great shot.

Chisora’s promoter Frank Warren admitted: “David Haye fought superbly and made me eat my words.
“He showed he could punch and demonstrated his hand speed.”
